#11- We Need To Talk
Parents, I love working with your kids. Every day, they teach me something new. They bring a smile to my face. They light up my day. It is a pleasure to work with them... usually! The kids lately though have been WILD and CRAZY! I leave school every day feeling like I've been run over by a freight train...I can only imagine what it's like at home for you... Don't get me wrong, I love them but WOW!
I wanted to share with you some of the Christmas-y stuff going on with some of my students...
Some of my kids wrote letters to Santa...
I just adore their little drawings.
Love 'em.
And some Art Club students did some quick prints... to which they added sparkly glittery-snow stuff.
And some work which has nothing to do with the holidays... Japanese Tea Bowl designs!
They are lovely, especially up close. They drew designs in colored pencil, inspired by Nature, and then water colored.
Here's something of my own I worked finished up last week. A gift for a friend visiting us this week!
Hope your kids are as good as gold! :) I know I must have driven my family and teachers crazy... I loved the Christmas holidays as a kid. I can't wait to have one of my own to share the fun!
