Fun Stuff!

I've been working on my first real quilt these past few months... I've never worked with a pattern and never have even sewed circles, so I was challenging myself when I picked up the Single Girl quilt by Denyse Schmidt.

Here's one example:
I love it. I can't pull myself away from it and I don't know how I'll wrap it up and give it away-- I'm sort of attached! I can't reveal just yet the finished product for 2 reasons: 1- I'm not finished (but I'm close!) and 2- It's a belated wedding gift for some friends (hey, you have a year, right!).
I've even picked out my next quilt pattern: "Texas Tulip"-- one I already have and one for which I even have the perfect fabrics for, too! I'm ready to jump on it and get started.
I'll fallen for some designs I found on Print and Pattern by sprout design. I'm hoping to put something on pottery for the nursery...
